KRETS is a non-profit art gallery and project space, occupying a former dairy- and ice cream factory located at Kristianstadsgatan 16 in Malmö, Sweden.

Working mainly with an international focus, we want to introduce contemporary artists previously not shown in the region. KRETS seeks to show a diversity of art practices – in a way not bound to conventional or commercial contexts. KRETS hosts exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, and music performances. We always welcome new collaborations and will respond to proposals as often as we can.

At KRETS you will also find a selection of printed matter (small press publications, zines, artist books, prints, etc.) plus some records and cassettes from artists and independent labels that we like.

KRETS was founded 2007 and is funded by the Culture Department of Malmö and the Swedish Arts Council.
