Like rays of light in otherwise dark times, KRETS presents a projection calendar – and shows a new visual work every day until the turn of the year.
Over the course of the thirty-one evenings of December, KRETS’ window is lit up for passersby, as the temporary artist Lina Linde (b. 1978) makes interpretations of her own and other people’s recollections. Every day new visuals are displayed, based on a personal memory; a fragment of something that means something to someone.
Linde has worked with moving images since 2003 and to experiment and encourage participation is central to her practice. Accordingly, viewers are welcome to become co-creators by contributing visual material. Everybody is invited to send images (still or moving), which will be interpreted and part of the exhibition. Kollektivt minne (Collective Memory) will thus evolve like a chain reaction.
The exhibition will shift daily and be on display in KRETS’ window after sunset. Follow and comment on Instagram under #kollektivtminne.
